Le rendez-vous des francophones à Taiwan

The Association of French in Taiwan (AFT) celebrates the National Day:

The French Party

July comes with the French National Day, the end of the monarchy with the dismantling of La Bastille on July 14th, 1789. At this occasion, few days ahead, on July 9th 2011, the French Association in Taiwan (AFT) together with Alliance Française in Taiwan, holds a huge party at the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) for an international crowd of French speakers -or not. The program includes a wide range of animations on stage: magicians, acrobats, a young rock band Bantam, belly dancers. The public will dance on the hot rhythms of the famous Wailin’ Soul, and their singer Sherwyne Pereira.

In the meantime, the public, with mouth full of "barbe à papa" will enjoy several street performances: French language discovery, games for kids, baby foot, table hockey, Aunt Sally, makeup and body painting: and of course French delicacies and beverages will be proposed.

The lasts editions of this event have attracted over than 1000 people. For the 2011 edition, the AFT expects even more people coming!
